Yesh! I'm unofficially graduated from Singapore Poly! Today marks the last day of my paper and in school. Hahah. Maybe i'll just go back to school for gym.
Well well time to choose a university before 21st Feb! What should i choose? I don't want to have a pure IT course anymore. Because i think it wouldn't last me long. Perhaps mix with business management? Well i have 16 days to think.

hi.. yoong jian here. I wanna ask you abt the spyware and trojans thingy coz I think my computer has been affected by something call fake alert trojan, smitfraud-c and spy sheriff. I tried to scan them with spybot and CounterSpy but the threats are still there. So I was thinking about reformat the whole computer. Can I do that in order to remove all these trojans and spyware?

ReplyDeleteok.. if I'm not mistaken, to reformat the computer I'll need to insert the xp cd and then restart the computer. Next I click the esc button until I see the blue screen - BIOS and I go to the boot device section and change the primary to ASUS DVD and the secondary to floppy disc. Then I save and exit. Later on, I just have to follow the instruction on the cd. Oh by the way, I just have to reformat the C: drive only right? I don't have to do anything on the D: and E: drive right? I don't want to have any mistake in the reformat process so if anything that I have miss out, pls tell me. =) Last but not least, HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!!
ReplyDeleteyup thats correct. but in order to remove ALL virus and spyware, its the best u format the whole harddisk.. happy CNY to u too! =)
